You probably already get the recommended daily allowance of sugar just by eating your regular meals. So there is really no need to add table sugar to your food, which only adds empty calories. To make sure your snacks are healthy, keep fresh produce in sight. Get a big bowl of in-season fruit and set it on your counter. Stock the drawers in your fridge with celery and carrots. When a healthy snack is the first thing, you see, it’s more likely to be the snack that you choose.
